Test Your ILD Knowledge: A Case-Based Multidisciplinary Program is a Section 3 Self-Assessment program that facilitates the discussion of diagnostic challenges in interstitial lung disease (ILD) and demonstrates the value of interdisciplinary inputs from experts in radiology and pathology. This program features three clinical cases that highlight key learning points.
Developed by Drs. Margaret Kelly, Deborah Assayag, Daniel Marinescu, Giang Nguyen, and Alyson Wong, the program is directed to respirologists, medical trainees (residents, fellows, etc.), and other healthcare professionals who diagnose, treat, and manage ILD patients.
After completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the potential value of interdisciplinary discussion;
- Understand the role of lung biopsy in managing ILD; and
- Consider the less common causes of ILD.
The estimated time to complete the program is about 90 minutes and the users may do so over several days or weeks. Once they begin the program, they can pause at any time and save their progress. When they are ready to resume, they simply need to log back in and click on the Start / Resume button.
Once they have completed the program, users need to complete the evaluation form and will automatically receive their certificate of completion, along with a report of their answers.
